Vintage Lentheric 2 ounce Perfume/Toilet Water for Men Scantier Bottle with Metal Screw-on Cap. The metal cap is gold and includes 2 back-to-back "L"s topped by a crown. A place on the glass, on the front of the bottle, is flattened for a label. The bottom is marked "4", "Lentheric," and "2 oz."
Lentheric is an old perfumery house founded in France at the end of the 19th century. Guillaume Lenthéric established his perfume salon at Saint-Honoré in Paris in 1875. Although he began his career as a hairdresser, Lenthéric expanded into millinery accessories and perfume over time. Initially, he only made up fragrances for some of his most valued customers, but when Lentheric's perfumes drew even more attention than his lofty coifs, Parfums Lentheric was created. Despite his death in 1912, Parfums Lentheric lived on, and approximately 140 fragrances were released from the house between 1910 to 1964.
