Hull Pottery Utility Stein #492 with an Alpine Scene, Fisherman Mountain Forrest

Hull Pottery Stein with Alpine Scene

Based on the description and your image, the stein you have is likely a Hull Pottery Utility Stein #492 with an Alpine Scene. This is a popular vintage collectible, especially among Hull Pottery enthusiasts.

Key Features:

* Glaze: The stein is typically glazed in a brown or tan color.

* Design: The Alpine scene is embossed on the stein, often depicting a fisherman in a mountain setting.

* Handle: The handle is often shaped like a tree branch.

* Markings: The bottom of the stein should have the Hull Pottery "H" in a circle mark and the pattern number "492."

Pridemore 83 Mark:

The "Pridemore 83" mark is a bit unusual. It might indicate a custom order or a later addition to the stein. It's possible that Pridemore was the name of the person who owned or commissioned the stein. However, without more information, it's difficult to say definitively.
