This is an Antique Victorian Large Hand Carved Pin of a Stag or Deer Running Through the Woods. Pins like this were generally made in the Mid to Late 1800s & done in bone or shell. It has highly detailed carving. The pin is set in gold metal & measures about 2" by just under 1.5". The pin is a beautiful creamy white color. My photos give a yellowish hue. I apologize.
It was given to me many years ago by my Godmother, who owned an antique shop. She's been gone for years & she was in her 90s when she went.
